When a manufacturer is productive, there is usually a need to prolong it.

Disneyland was an extension of Disney flicks. It reflected some of the magic of the movies, but developed a little something new and worthwhile as very well. Disneyland experienced some of the Disney essence and then crafted one thing additive and new.
